What is mastering?
Mastering is the final decision-making stage after the mix. It prepares the track for release by shaping tone, loudness, dynamics, low-end control and translation across playback systems.
What is stem mixing?
Stem mixing gives Mark grouped parts of the track, such as drums, bass, synths and vocals. It is useful when the stereo mix is close, but the master needs more control than a single file allows.
How do I prepare my files?
Send WAV or AIFF files with no clipping and around 3-6dB of headroom. If a limiter is only being used for loudness, remove it before exporting.
How long does delivery take?
Most single-track masters are delivered within a few working days. Stem projects depend on the number of stems and how much finishing the record needs.
